Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen has two parts:

Our heroes Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi get separated and have to fight for their lives against powerful enemies. Meanwhile, the super strong Gojo gets trapped, unable to help directly. The situation looks desperate, but wait... there might be a hidden way out!

Junpei, Yuji's friend, tragically gets caught in the crossfire and dies. This pushes Yuji even further to protect the innocent.
